Kimchi Cheese Toastie is a popular Korean street food made with kimchi and cheese sandwiched on a bread then toasted to golden perfection.
- In a pan or a sandwich press melt the butter then place both sliced bread on top and let it absorb the melted butter.
- On one sandwich, place the following in order, process cheese slice, kimchi (spread across), grated mozzarella then another processed cheese. Place the empty sandwich on top then toast both sides. If using a sandwich press cook for 4 minutes until crispy and toasted on both sides. If you’re using a pan then toast one side for 4 minutes, place a cover to trap the steam then gently flip it over to toast the other side for another 4 minutes, no need to cover after it was flipped.
- Cut in half then serve straightaway.
