Malaysian Barbecue Chicken Wings

Serves: 12 wings
  • 12 large chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp Chinese wine
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup dark soy sauce
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt
  1. Combine all ingredients apart from the chicken and mix it well, set it aside and this will be your marinade.
  2. Place chicken in a zip lock bag then pour marinade, distribute it evenly then zip the bag and let it marinate overnight.
  3. Remove chicken from the bag then place it in skewers, place chicken in the oven and bake for 200C for 20-25 minutes then bring temperature up to 220C and set it to grill mode then cook for 3 more minutes or until the chicken is golden brown in colour.
  4. Remove from oven then serve while hot.
