Noodles and Broth
- 1/2 watermelon
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 pcs 310 ml bags cold noodle broth
- 2 servings cold noodles
- 2 boiled eggs
- 1 tbsp gochugaru
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/3 cup Chilsung cider
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- Combine refreshing watermelon chunks with chilled noodle broth in a blender, pulsing until a smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a strainer and let it cool in the refrigerator. For a clearer and softer broth, you can freeze it after straining.
- Prepare the seasoning sauce by combining sugar, gochugaru, cider, vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
- Slice the cucumber and cut the boiled eggs into halves.
- Boil the cold noodles in boiling water according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain, and rinse them under cold water.
- In serving bowls, place the cooked cold noodles, sliced cucumber, and boiled eggs.
- Pour the chilled watermelon broth over the noodles and vegetables.
- Drizzle the seasoning sauce over the noodles and garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve chilled.
