Looking for a refreshing and healthy drink? Look no further than my copycat version of Aling Nely and Tatay Tony’s Dragon Fruit Juice, they are the hottest drink in Quiapo at the moment and it is trending in most social media platforms.

Located right in front of the Quiapo Church, this small stall has become a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike. And it’s no wonder why! Aling Nely and Tatay Tony’s Dragon Fruit Juice is not only delicious but also affordable. What’s more, this dragon fruit juice is all-natural, with no added food coloring or sugar, that’s what most interview says but its hard for me to fathom how to achieve that colour just with the fruit alone as I made this several times at home, I might be doing it incorretly. Apparently it’s made with only fresh dragon fruit, sugar and perhaps evaporated milk as most videos of videos I saw about it suggest, giving it a creamy and fruity taste that will leave you wanting more. It is quite typical for a Filipino drink to combine fruits with evaporated milk and sugar and we can see that on Melon Juice, Buko Juice as well as the Fruit Salad juice.

Despite being a relatively new addition to the Quiapo food scene, Aling Nely and Tatay Tony’s Dragon Fruit Juice has already become a hit. According to Aling Nely, they sell up to 500 kilos of dragon fruit each day, especially on Sundays when the Quiapo Church is at its busiest.

So what makes this drink so special? For one, it’s incredibly cheap compared to buying a whole kilo of dragon fruit, which can cost up to 300 pesos. And with its refreshing taste and health benefits, it’s no wonder that customers keep coming back for more. But it’s not just the taste that sets Aling Nely and Tatay Tony’s Dragon Fruit Juice apart. It’s also the fact that it’s made with locally sourced dragon fruit, which is in season from October to December. This helps support local farmers and ensures that customers are getting the freshest and highest quality fruit. Having said that during off season the fruits are sourced from international suppliers

If you’re in Quiapo and looking for a tasty and healthy drink, be sure to check out Aling Nely and Tatay Tony’s Dragon Fruit Juice. With its affordable price, all-natural ingredients, and delicious taste, it’s no wonder that this drink has become the talk of the town. If in case going to Philippines is not in your agenda in the near future then our recipe below hoepfully gives you a glimpse of how it would taste like. While I haven’t tasted them personally with the information I have and experience on trying out other local fruit juices in the Philippines I am sure the recipe that I will sharing you today is a close representation of the real thing.
