Description
Kiniing Bukel is a Filipino soup dish prepared with a type of dried smoked pork with white beans cooked with a sauté of onions, garlic together with leafy vegetables.

- 250 g kiniing
- 1 bunch bok choy, trimmed
- 400 g can red or white beans
- 3 cups pork stock
- 2 pcs small shallots
- 6 thin slices ginger
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- oil
- salt
Instructions
- In a soup pot heat oil then sauté garlic, shallots and ginger in medium heat until fragrant and shallots are soft.
- Add the kiniing then cook for two minutes.
- Pour the pork stock then bring it to a boil, cover the pot then put heat to low then simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the beans, simmer for 10 minutes
- Add the bok choy, simmer for 1 more minute.
- Season with salt if needed, turn heat off then serve.
