Eat Indian (Auckland CBD, Auckland, New Zealand)

Just a quick review today and it another one from Commercial Bay, a place where we have regularly have office lunches when my team is all at work. We had tried several stalls at Commercial Bay like Mazi, Nam Nam, Gochu and Kai Eatery, today I am trying Eat Indian. And you know if its Indian, its butter chicken time.

The stall looks familiar, like any other Indian fast food like Shamiana and Spice Traders a plethora of curries are the ones on showcase but instead of that boring rectangular vessel that look like a school canteen. Eat Indian looks way much better in this regard and they look more like a buffet spread.

As usual, I grabbed my go to curry like most Kiwi’s do, the butter chicken. So how does it fare with everything else comparing to other Indian fast foods? Well, what I immediately noticed is that this is the sweetest butter chicken I tried, it is also buttery and creamy. Rice was OK, not as al dente like other but I liked how its cooked, and the naan was most and chewy too. So, for those who don’t like sweet Butter chickens then I suggest for you to order something else but for me as a Filipino, we love sweet things so this gets a thumbs up for me.
