Description
Halo Halo Ice Cream is a type of Filipino ice cream prepared with Ang Sarap’s trusted no churn mixture infused with Halo Halo ingredients such as Nata de Coco, Jackfruit, Kaong, Red Beans, White Beans and Macapuno.
Ingredients
- 500 ml full fat fresh cream, chilled
- 395 g sweetened condensed milk, chilled
- 1 cup halo halo mix-, drained and chilled
Instructions
- In a stand mixer, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Take note do not over beat cream otherwise you will have a butter as a result.
- Gently add the condensed milk and halo halo mix then fold (not whisk nor blend) it into the whipped cream.
- Pour contents into a container then freeze until set. Remove from the freezer, scoop then serve.
So creamy, smooth and yummy! A perfect summer treat, Raymund.
I’ve never heard of Halo Halo mix (Nor I am not entirely sure how I feel about beans in my ice cream haha), but this ice cream looks totally tasty to me.
I mean: hello, hello, beautiful ice cream 🙂

What a fun idea! It always seems like so much work to put together all the toppings for halo halo, so I love how you made it into one simple scoop.

Your no churn ice cream sounds fascinating! Definitely will need to try it in the summer. The Halo Halo inclusions sound interesting too.

As with Ben, I’ve never heard of Halo Halo mix. I will look for it next time I’m at our Asian grocery store. Sounds like there are lots of opportunities for different flavors.
