Copycat Jollibee’s Amazing Aloha Yumburger

If you miss Jollibee’s burger and you don’t have a store near you then this is the next best thing. Copycat Jollibee’s Amazing Aloha Yumburger is a copycat recipe of that famous Jollibee burger made with beef patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce, honey mustard sauce, and a pineapple slice in between two soft buns.

I guess you would have noticed by now that I do miss that Filipino fast-food chain called Jollibee. While Jollibee is now available in a lot of countries, sadly we don’t have one here in New Zealand and the nearest one to us is in Hawaii. That does not help specially nowadays with this Pandemic, it’s hard to travel and at worse you may contract or be a carrier of that virus. Pre COVID, we travel a lot and if there is a Jollibee in the place we visit, it will be one of the first places we go but with the current scenario the next best thing is to make my own one at home. I had posted a lot of Jollibee copycats before, from their famous Chicken Joy, Jolly Spaghetti, Garlic Pepper Beef and Honey Beef Rice but I haven’t made their burgers yet, up until now.

I have several positive reviews on people who tried it, telling me in the comments section of this site, sending me an email or a DM in Instagram, a lot of them say it’s almost near the original thing but not everything is perfect, after all these are not original recipes, I don’t know it either, it’s just me trying to recreate it based on my experience, other people’s experience and even online descriptions on what the elements are there on each dish. So, there is a lot of trials and errors even before I post my recipe, definitely those comments that I get were valuable as I adjust my recipe depending on what their comments were. Of all these copycats, I guess this burger that we are posting today will be the easiest one, it’s just a burger, all components will be easy to recreate as they are not complicated ones and usually uses one ingredient per element, and with the sauce, it’s not like your McDonalds who have the Big Mac sauce with this one they publicly advertise that it uses a Honey Mustard Sauce, all you need is to know what that burger patty contains. But I like things simple, for my patty, like what most people do, I just use pure beef seasoned with salt and pepper.

I’ve been to Hawaii but sadly did not know of this burger from said fast food chain Jollibee! It sure does look amazing. Thanks for recreating it so we can give it a go at home Raymund!

  3. Ooo this burger is such a stunner! I love the pairing of pineapple and meat, but I’ve actually never tried it on a burger. Pineapple, beef, bacon, and cheese? I am in!

  4. suituapui says:

Hawaiian, eh? Pineapples, I like!!! Love Hawaiian pizza.

  5. Yum! There’s something about the combo of pineapple and bacon that always gets me. And I’m always up for a burger! Really nice — thanks.

  6. I have never heard of the restaurant chain, but it sounds really wonderful. Next time I’m in Hawaii, I will look for it. But, as you said, traveling is hard these days… especially look forward to trying the honey-mustard sauce. And I can honestly say that I have never had a hamburger with pineapple slices on it before.

  7. I can definitely tell that you miss Jollibee! While I’m not familiar with that chain, this burger (and the other recipes you’ve shared from them) sound amazing. I’ve had a burger with grill pineapple on it…amazing!!

Jollibee’s is a must-visit for us too! We’ve been waiting for locations to open in BC for a while now… I’ve actually not tried their yumburger as I’m partial to their chicken, but the copycat looks amazing!

Now that looks like a serious burger! I’ve had to learn to rely a lot more on my own resources since the pandemic. Actually feels good in more ways than not!

  11. Hannah says:

Simple, fresh, and classic; I can see why this burger is a big hit!

  12. Eva Taylor says:

I don’t know Jollibee’s but I do know that this burger looks fantastic. Interesting addition of the pineapple, the acidity would definitely help cut the richness of the burger.

  13. There are no Jollibee’s in Canada so now I am extra curious to try it! I did copycat their strawberry fries, they might go well together lol.
