Slow Cooker Neck Bones and Potatoes is a simple dish of meaty fall of the bone pork and potatoes cooked in gravy over slow cooker.


  • 2 kgs meaty pork neck bones
  • 4 pcs starchy potatoes, cubed
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 whole garlic, minced
  • 1 cups pork stock
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • 2 pcs 30g rich brown gravy mix
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt
  • oil


  1. Season pork neck with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet add oil then brown the neck bones on all sides. Remove from the pot then set it aside.
  3. Using the same pot sauté garlic and onions until fragrant. Turn heat off and set the pan aside.
  4. In a bowl combine pork stock, vegetable stock and gravy mix. Mix well until combined.
  5. Place neck bones on a slow cooker then pour the sautéed garlic and onion with the oil. Place the rest of the ingredients then put slow cooker on high, put the lid on, then cook for 6 hours.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
