We all know Chicken Breast can be one of the most boring chicken parts ever! Did you notice when you serve roast chicken, this part is usually the left over? While it’s not the case for some, most families will have this issue. Chicken breast, when I eat them on badly prepared meal, I feel like eating tasteless dense dry bread. But if you prepare them properly, it can yield a good result. You won’t even think you are eating chicken breast at all. Chicken breast is like a love and hate relationship, sometimes you love it, sometimes it’s the other way around. In a number of occasions, I was fooled. I thought I had chicken leg or thigh meat, but since it was cooked properly, they were juicy, tasty and tender.
Today we are sharing you those recipes, 22 Not so Boring Chicken Breast Recipes that I tried and recreated at home, trust me all in this list works, the secret in all of these recipes is just a method of preparing them, so they don’t dry out and in some cases, we add a bit of moisture with the help of tasty sauces that the meat absorbs, plus they are all easy to cook recipes so it’s a no brainer that you bookmark all of them. Ji Pai – This Taiwanese fried chicken was actually the first ones that tricked me into eating Chicken breast, it’s so good you won’t think it is breast meat. The quick deep-fry yields a juicy meat with the addition of some crispy bits that gives a texture boost. It is perfect in every way and could replace KFC anytime.
Chicken Tenders – If Doritos is not your thing then let’s make it simple, all you need is a dip like mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue sauce, blue cheese dressing, ranch dressing or honey mustard, it’s all up to you. If kids love them, why don’t you?
Cordon Bleu – If those three breaded dishes above does not convince you, then I hope this one will. Crispy breading with filled with melting cheese and smoky bacon. Come on!
Chicken Katsu Curry – The Japanese might not be popular with fried food but the one in their arsenal are all amazing. Take this chicken katsu as an example. On its own its already incredible. Now let’s put some amazing Japanese curry sauce on that to brighten things up.
Cheese, cheese and more cheese
Chicken Quesadilla – Chicken, Cheese and tortilla, what can go wrong. The Mexicans had proven this with a lot of their dishes. That melting cheese adds locked moisture and flavour to that shredded chicken breast. Stuff it in a soft and warm tortilla with some crispy bits, this one is a champ!
Chicken Parmigiana – This one is like lasagne but instead of pasta, chicken breast is used. Layers of fried chicken, tomato sauce and cheese will surely make you drool.
Chicken Sorrentino – Now let’s upgrade that Parmigiana by adding eggplants, prosciutto and more cheese, then you have this. Now they can’t say you did not eat your vegetables. It is a good way of hiding eggplants for the kids too!

Honey Mustard Chicken Bacon Avocado Salad – You may say salad and chicken breast are boring, you are wrong. Just look at this beauty complemented with avocadoes, honey and bacon. The dressing with the perfectly grilled chicken will make you forget you are eating a salad.
Saucy and Soupy Chicken Breasts
Grilled Chicken and Peach Mango Salsa – If avocadoes and leaves are not your thing, then let’s swap that with tangy and sweet peach and mango combination. I know it works well with desserts, but it works its wonder with chicken breast too.

Tom Kha Gai – Basically same as the one above but for those who loves it creamy, then this is for you, it is dairy free too.
Butter Chicken – There is a reason why Kiwi’s love this. Creamy, mildly spicy, sometimes sweet, served with freshly cooked naan, this is a no brainer. If you don’t believe me just ask the Indian fast foods on food courts what their best sellers are. This one is definitely on the top.
Stir Fried all the Time
Devilled Chicken and Mangoes – The name alone defines it all. It is so spicy, hot food lovers out there will rejoice.
Chicken Velvet with Baby Bok Choy – The method used in this chicken stir fry ensures that the moisture is locked in that chicken breast, if you haven’t tried velveting yet, then you should, there is a reason why this Chinese method is used on most of their stir fries.
Chicken Cashew – Another way of using the velveting method, and if you don’t like vegetables then try this one. None of the green stuff you hate, only cashews and peppers. Oh well, one of the capsicums are green 🙂
Hoisin Chicken Stir Fry – The sweet, tangy, savoury Hoisin sauce is a perfect match for this tender chicken pieces specially when served with a freshly cooked rice. That sauce is enough to make your rice shine!
Paprik Ayam – Tired of Chinese stir fries? Then give this Malaysian version a shot. This one will surely kick you in the gut, in a good way. Its spicy, sweet and savoury, a sure-fire explosion in your mouth.

Spicy Chicken Tequila Fettuccine – Spirits on pasta, why not! Try experimenting with vodka, gin or brandy if tequila is not your thing.

Leftover Roast Chicken Pasta – Leftover chicken breast is a common problem, so you don’t want it to go to waste, give this recipe a shot. It’s an easy recipe to prepare too. No need to cook your chicken, so all you need is 20 minutes of cooking time.
