Dried Shrimps Omelette is a simple dish of crispy fried shrimps combined with beaten eggs and cooked omelette style
I bought these tiny dried shrimps with shell on a couple of weeks ago to use as a flavouring for one of my dishes last week and now I have a lot of spare and was wondering how to use this on other dishes. First, I tried to fry a small batch, which ended up in my tummy just after cooking, I just realized it was so good and you can easily snack on it, very crispy, so much flavour which gave me the idea of cooking it omelette style. I then fried another batch added it on beaten eggs and the result was a new breakfast item that I guess will be a regular in our house. It’s quite simple just two ingredients Dried Shrimps and Eggs, it’s so tasty enough you don’t need any other seasonings.
Just a note to Filipinos, this is not the hibe. this is way much smaller than hibe and this still contains the heads and shells.
