Marriott Circular Quay Breakfast Buffet (Sydney, Australia)
One of the best breakfasts I had in Australia is at this place, Marriott at Circular Quay. If there is one word to describe it, that would be “Selection” as they do have tons of options for everyone, whether you are vegan, vegetarian, on Paleo diet, on Keto diet, gluten free you name it they have it, while I don’t have any of those dietary restrictions I was so amazed of what is on offer. Having said that meat eaters have a good selection as well so you won’t be disappointed.
Talking about variety, it’s not just the plethora of food that you will notice but also the cuisine as it is not just serving Western food, there are also Indian like breakfast curries and paratha, Chinese in the form for dumplings and pork congee with a great selection of toppings, Italian style tapas with cheeses, roasted vegetables and cold cuts, African Boerewors, Bagel stations, Waffle stations and Omelette Station to name some. Great selection of drinks as well, from fresh fruit juices and even barista coffee.
Located at the lobby of the hotel, in the mid-section this place is in full view of the few open balconies several floors above. With ample seating it is guaranteed you will find a spare table for you even the hotel is at capacity, I know it first had because when we checked in here the hotel have several conferences running and most of the delegates are accommodated in this hotel. I was a busy lobby but still there are ample tables for you to enjoy your breakfast.
Like I said on my introduction, this is one of the best places I had breakfast in Australia, perhaps one of the top 10 in my list of all the breakfasts I had. Food was great and tasty and staff were very friendly, I definitely recommend this place and that’s even if you are not staying here. Buffet breakfast is AU$ 38.00, it’s not that expensive, a very reasonable price for the selection you have.
