Maxx Kitchen Foodcourt (Bali, Indonesia)

This post today will be really short but I just want to commend one food stall located in Maxx Kitchen Food Court inside Lippo Mall as they make one of the best fish and chips I had ever tried. While my wife was having an appointment with a hair dresser during our last vacation in Bali, I went around the quiet mall of Lippo and see what is there to discover, the appointment was quite lengthy so I have a lot of time to kill.

On the top most floor there was this food court, at first, I just want a drink until I saw this Japanese place. Craving for some ramen I did ordered a tonkotsu luckily, they were out of it so I discovered this place beside them that sells usual Western dishes. I did not fancy most of their dishes as I just want a drink but for some reason my inner self told me to get that fish and chips which I did.

To my surprise it was amazingly good, it’s so good they were better than some of the good ones I tried here in New Zealand. Crust was perfectly crispy, inside was juicy and very moist, fish was so fresh. While the chips was just average the fish will be the best one you will try in Bali. So, if you happen to visit Bali and crave for some fish and chips then give this place a shot, trust me it won’t let you down.
