Glazed Carrots a simple dish of baby carrots par boiled and cooked in a lemon butter honey caramelized sauce.
- 400 g baby carrots, peeled
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- freshly ground black pepper
- In a saucepan add water and bring it to a boil. Add the carrots and simmer until tender, around 4 minutes.
- In a separate pan melt butter, add the honey then the carrots. Bring heat to high, let the honey caramelize, make sure carrots are glazed all over. Season with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon on top. Serve.
