Glazed Carrots a simple dish of baby carrots par boiled and cooked in a lemon butter honey caramelized sauce.
If you are looking for a simple side dish with your steak or grilled meat I guess nothing can go simpler than this, the glazed carrots, a dish of baby carrots cooked in butter and honey until tender and sugar starts caramelizing, with a hint of lemon juice it gives a nice fresh taste.
In a saucepan add water and bring it to a boil. Add the carrots and simmer until tender, around 4 minutes.
In a separate pan melt butter, add the honey then the carrots. Bring heat to high, let the honey caramelize, make sure carrots are glazed all over. Season with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon on top. Serve.
