RACV Royal Pines Resort (Gold Coast, Australia)
We had one of our conferences here and it was such an amazing place, though the building is quite aging the insides and facilities are quite modern, add to that a nice back drop of a well-manicured gold course of where Australian PGA Championships are held since 2013 then you have the perfect venue for those who loves golf or for just who loves a quiet venue under the sun.
This place is a resort so they have full amenities of hotel, restaurants, convention centres, swimming pools, sports playing fields, gym, spa & sauna and all sorts of activities, basically it’s a self-sustaining place, you might not need to go out of this place when you stay here. But were not here to review the place but more on the food they served on our conference, was it good? well it was and it really exceeded my expectation.
We had a three-day conference here and all of those three days lunch, two snacks and afternoon drinks were served. Lunch consists of 3 savoury dishes, salad, bread and two types of sides. For desserts there was usually 3 types of dessert at one time, snacks have two different option then the afternoon drinks are cocktail style with at least 6 to 7 savoury dishes served.
Savoury dishes were amazing, first day I had this beef curry and salmon, the curry was so flavourful and beef was tender. Second day I had some chicken and pork belly, what I can say is that the belly was so divine, the fat is melt in your mouth, I can have this all day. And for the third day I had a selection of sandwich, wraps and quiche, while I am not a fan of bread for lunch or dinner it was still enjoyable specially the sandwiches and quiche. All savoury dishes were done really well, it did not skimp on flavour and texture, the accompanying salads was great, as well as the sour dough and dinner rolls.
The desserts and snacks were amazing as well, there are too many selections to remember but all of them was amazing. If you have a sweet tooth then conferences here are for you, it looks like they put a lot of effort on each dessert that was served. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I enjoyed their selection.
I will definitely come back here or even book a conference here if I can, the service was great and the quality of food that was served is way up there with the likes of Sky City. I guess it all depends on your company budget but if you want your staff to be happy then feed them well, so well with great food.

My husband and I are making a trip to AUS in May… And if I show him this place, he is going to want to stay here and not actually explore AUS… LOL!!! But hey, I guess this is a form of exploration, right?
Wowwww!!! That sure is one posh place.
Oh my! It looks like paradise on Earth with the stunning views and amazing food.
The perfect venue for those who loves golf!
Oh, these desserts look great. One dessert looks almost like a ‘de-consructed Pavlova’ with the egg whites on one side and an egg yolk laying next to it. Now that might be a good idea for a dessert!
