Most of us is so used to having lettuce on salads and eaten raw but in Asia there are dishes where it is cooked like this dish of ours today a simple scalded lettuce in garlic oil. Its one of the fastest cooked dish you will ever make, all you need is to blanch your lettuce then drizzle hot garlic infused oil on top. If you are like me who continuously look for new green vegetable recipes then give this one a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.
So simple, but so interesting! I will give this a try.
So what is Chinese lettuce? I probably wouldn’t be able to find it here. Could I substitute romaine or Napa cabbage? This recipes looks so good that I’m dying to give it a try.
