Breakfast Buffet at Bazaar (Gold Coast, Australia)

QT Bazaar

Bazaar is a restaurant located in QT Gold Coast and it features an international cuisine breakfast buffet different dishes like congee, dimsums, pastries, omelettes, hot breakfast and cured meats to name some in a contemporary space with produce on display. Just imagine having and unlimited supply of good breakfast for three mornings, that’s what I have to undergo during my last stay there.

When I first had my breakfast here I was quite surprised as it was at par if not better than 5-star hotel breakfasts, I myself have been to many great buffet breakfasts and I can say this is one of the best ones I had. The options are plenty like different breads and pastries like croissants, pain au chocolat, bagels, donuts, toasts, Danishes and baguettes.

If you are not a big fan of breads then there is a great selection of hot cooked breakfasts like grilled tomatoes, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages and baked beans

For Asian lovers there are an ample selection of congee complete with different toppings, miso soup, dimsums like steamed pork buns and dumplings. Then for the ones who wants to DIY their breakfast there are stations for omelette, Scandinavian style cold meat and pickles station and waffles.

There are also a lot of healthy options if you don’t want to start your day with something fried and greasy like yoghurts, acai berries, granola, muesli, cereals and different tropical fruits like rock melons, honey dew, passionfruit, watermelon, banana and pineapple and non-tropical fruits like kiwi, oranges and apples to name some.

To top it all up there is also a good selection of drinks like hot coffee, chocolate, milk and fresh fruit juices

Just imagine all of these options presented to you where do you start? Well for me I did not gorge them all in one sitting but I enjoyed each of them one day at a time, I stayed here for three nights so I have three different occasions to enjoy them. I won’t be discussing what I had on each occasion but what I can say that I enjoyed this place, each item on the menu was well taken care off, they all tasted amazing and even if you are the pickiest eater of all there will be definitely something for you.

Several things stood out though like the pastries which is done with perfection in mind, I think I was warped to a patisserie in France when I was eating them, it was crispy but soft on the inside. The Asian section was good as well, I know I am an Asian so I am a bit biased but trust me they are done and tasted like how it is used to be, the buns are fluffy as it should be and it was the taste I was after, not to mention the dumplings were perfect too. Finally I loved the sausages as well, I guess it is made in their kitchen, it perfectly seasoned and sized.

Overall it was a great experience and if you want to stay in a hotel in Gold Coast you should be considering staying in here, it’s a nice place that is far away from the noise of the central Gold Coast but still near that you can walk from the hotel to where things are happening in just a matter of minutes.

It’s also near to the beach front, just a mere block away you can start walking on the amazing shoreline and burn all of that great food while enjoying a priceless scenery that Gold Coast has to offer.
