Satueed Carrots in Sesame Oil


Description

Sautéed Carrots in Sesame Oil is a simple side dish of sliced carrots sautéed in sesame oil seasoned with a bit of salt, it’s good to pair with any grilled meat but even better if the grilled meat is marinated Asian style.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pcs large carrots, sliced into matchsticks
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • salt

Instructions

  1. In a wok heat some sesame oil and lightly sauté carrots together with cayenne pepper. Stir fry for a minute do not overcook, its best when it’s crispy.
  2. Remove from wok then season with salt. Garnish with roasted sesame seeds then serve with your favourite grilled meats.
