  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 whole garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup cane vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Philippine Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • oil
  • 2 pcs bay leaves
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • water


  1. In a large wok sauté garlic in oil using low heat until golden brown.
  2. Add chicken wings and fry until light brown in colour.
  3. Add water, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves and brown sugar then bring to a boil and simmer in medium-high heat while occasionally stirring for 15 minutes or until liquid dries out.
  4. Continue to cook in medium heat browning the sides adding a bit of oil if needed, season with freshly ground black pepper then remove from wok. Serve while hot.
