Wrocław’s Hala Targowa (Market Hall) – A Visual Essay

Wroclaw Market Hall or what the locals call Hala Targowa we Wroclawiu is a building located in Ulica Piaskowa at the junction of Plac Nankiera and Ulica Sw. Ducha, situated close to Market Square this building was built during the 1906 when the city was still a part of Germany. The building was not severely damaged during World War II hence it’s still standing until this very moment.

We never had intended to go here but after reading how interesting the place was I was certainly convinced. It’s loaded with lots of produce from fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, processed meats as well as clothing and small appliances. The prices was cheap as well and there are loads of selection. It’s an enjoyable place to visit, you will see a lot of culture in this place, definitely not your usual tourist spot but it should be in your checklist when you visit Wroclaw.

Now let’s go on to the visual essay below and party see what I had experienced when I visited the place.
