Salt Village Fish & Chips located in Bells Boulevard has that to offer in a mixed seafood form. This was my late lunch on my first day in there and surely this fixed my hunger after a short flight and a long drive. They offer this deep fried mixed seafood in different amounts from family pack (AU$49.00), meal for two (AU$25.00) or even for individuals (AU$12.50).

I know most of you even I never had heard of Kingscliff before as the popular destinations near this location are Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. A very quiet location just 40 minutes away from Gold Coast this place have a lot of coastlines consisting of a series of golden beaches cradled between headlands. This place is known as becoming a gourmet destination and we will show some of that in our next following restaurant review posts but let’s start with something a lot of us like, some deep fried food.

They offer this deep fried mixed seafood in different amounts from family pack (AU$49.00), meal for two (AU$25.00) or even for individuals (AU$12.50). I ordered the latter, it contains several items like fish, squid, prawns, surimi (if I can remember), potato scallops and chips. It was good, I guess it’s hard to fail on deep fried stuff, the chips was crispy at the same time soft and moist inside.

They also sell other items like salads if you want to add a healthy side to your meal. The lady there was really friendly and greeted us with a smile, she was a fellow Filipino and I knew that the moment she asked me of my nationality (it’s just a Filipino thing to do), she even gave me a free dip which are paid for, a really good gesture definitely knows how to attract customers back.

So if in you’re near this place and looking for some inexpensive meal to fix your deep fried hunger then definitely this is the place to be, Salt Village Fish & Chips.
