Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Tomato Sauce

stir-fried-cauliflower-with-tomato-sauce

Stir-fried cauliflower with tomato sauce is a simple dish of cauliflower stir fried with tomatoes and garlic, a really nice side dish with a really good flavour. Picking the right tomatoes is the key to this dish so that the natural flavours of cauliflower would come out, which means Roma tomatoes or something similar would be the perfect ingredient to use, its tangy sweet natural flavour when it seeps through the florets enhances its nutty flavour.

This dish is usually found on Chinese restaurants but it’s not as popular as most of their stir fries, like me I only encountered this on the menu for just a couple of times.

I am not fond of the cauliflower here, imported…from China, I think…bland, no taste and no fragrance – too old, not fresh, I guess.
