Zambrero (Gold Coast, Australia)

I never knew that we have Zambrero here in New Zealand since I was not specifically looking for them until I gave it a shot when I was in Gold Coast. After a short wlak from our Hotel at the Surfers Paradise Boulevard heading to Gold Coast Central we saw this establishment, it was mid morning so no one was prepared for a lunch yet but since we just arrived from New Zealand for us it was lunch time due to the 2 hour difference. There were lots of restaurants within the vicinity but we feel having something light and fast and this place was the perfect option.

It was still empty when we came in which is good as we dont have to battle with some sort of queue specially in Gold Coast it can get really busy this means we also can take our time choosing what to eat without the stress of knowing someone is waiting on the line

I was hungry but not that much, we had several servings some food on the plane after being delayed for 3 hours due to faulty comupters that had to be replaced. I wanted a burrito but I think it’s too much so I opted for some Quesadilla which is filled Chicken, tomato and melted cheese.

And some Chips & Dip which are crispy corn chips with salsas, guacamole & sour cream

I thought I am having a light meal but the quesadillas was bigger than I expected.

It was good, cheesy and tasty.

I also love the chips and dip, though the chips is quite bland the dips that accompanied it was great specially the guacamole, the avocadoes used I think is way much better than the avocadoes we have in New Zealand, its much more creamier and nuttier. I did enjoyed what I ordered and it definitely gave me energy to make me move until dinner time. It’s a perfect snack a great filler for someone who wants it light. I would definitely try the Zambrero here after giving it a shot in Gold Coast.
