Blue Cheese Walnut Green Beans
We dont do boring food here at Ang Sarap that is why we try hard to make each recipe exciting for everyone even if sometimes we have to add something out of the ordinary to give a normal food that added ooomph. Take this beans as an example usually they are just served as it is or just buttered as a side but to make it exciting we added flavour and texture to it, by using blue cheese and toasted walnuts it gave this dish a life it needed.
- In a small pot add boiling water and green beans, cook until beans are tender but still crispy.
- Drain beans and place them ice cold water to stop it from cooking.
- Transfer beans in a serving platter then season beans with salt and freshly ground pepper, sprinkle blue cheese and toasted walnuts then serve.
